Joshua came to Southern Alberta from Smoky Lake, AB in 2006 to attend the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball. In 2007 he attended the Prairie Baseball Academy and Lethbridge College. Eventually, he attended the U of L and was member of the Emotion and Sport Performance Lab. Quickly he began working with the athletes providing Mental Training and started working with athletes in the region. Later he completed a Masters in Counselling Psychology, became a certified Dynamic Edge Sports Vision Trainer, and obtained his Canadian Sport Psychology Professional Membership. Recently, he became the operator of 90TEN Performance Psychology and delivers mental performance consulting services to the ASDC SW, local sport organizations, teams and individual. His experience in sport spans across various disciplines and will be an asset to the Centre because of his background. Since the fall of 2012, he was the ASDC SW Program Facilitator and in the fall of 2015, he moved in to the roll of the Centre Coordinator. Joshua is excited about the new changes in the ASDC SW and the opportunity to continue working with athletes/coaches in the region.
