Joshua Hoetmer

Joshua came to Southern Alberta from Smoky Lake, AB in 2006 to attend the Vauxhall Academy of Baseball. In 2007 he attended the Prairie Baseball Academy and Lethbridge College. Eventually, he attended the U of L and was member of the Emotion and Sport Performance Lab. Quickly he began working with the athletes providing Mental Training and started working with athletes in the region. Later he completed a Masters in Counselling Psychology, became a certified Dynamic Edge Sports Vision Trainer, and obtained his Canadian Sport Psychology Professional Membership. Recently, he became the operator of 90TEN Performance Psychology and delivers mental performance consulting services to the ASDC SW, local sport organizations, teams and individual. His experience in sport spans across various disciplines and will be an asset to the Centre because of his background. Since the fall of 2012, he was the ASDC SW Program Facilitator and in the fall of 2015, he moved in to the roll of the Centre Coordinator. Joshua is excited about the new changes in the ASDC SW and the opportunity to continue working with athletes/coaches in the region.

Neil Fraser

Neil came to ASDC SW in January of 2016 after spending more than four years as Sales Director with the Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League. While with the Hurricanes Neil’s focus was on marketing, sales and led a team that created a fun and entertaining fan experience. He was involved in many projects and events that generated brand awareness in the community, including fundraisers with Gordie Howe, Curtis Joseph and Paul Coffey. Neil grew up in Lethbridge and earned two diplomas in Broadcast Journalism and Television Production from Lethbridge College. Neil played many minor sports in Lethbridge including hockey, baseball, football, golf, volleyball and spent 15 seasons with Hockey Alberta as an on-ice official. Neil is responsible for marketing, communications, business operations and special events with ASDC SW.
