Development Programs

The ASDC SW is committed to the overall physical development, performance and support of athletes ages 12 to 18, as described in the Canadian Sport for Life Canada Long-Term Athlete Development. Programs offered by ASDC SW focus on the "Training to Train" and "Training to Compete" level. 

Athlete Enhancement Program

AEP provides the successful applicants with FREE High Performance training, Sport Science Seminars.

Long Term Athlete Development

Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) program follows the Canadian Sport for Life athlete development stages. ASDC SW and  UofL High Performance Training Centre are offering athlete development programs designed with the LTAD Training to Train (ages 12 to 15) and Training to Compete (ages  16 to 19) stages in mind.

Running Prep Program

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks Running Prep program combines technical skill training with sports science sessions.

2017 Volleyball Prep Program

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks volleyball Prep Program has been designed for new and experienced players in grades 7 to 12.

2017 Goalie Prep

Goalie Prep Program is the only one of its kind in Southern Alberta. It’s the only program focused on providing vision, mental, and neurofeedback training to male/female hockey goalies looking to get ready for their upcoming season.

Football Prep

The 2017 Football prep program has been designed for Bantam and High School football
players in southwest Alberta.

Rugby Prep

The Rugby Prep program is designed for female and male rugby athletes in southern Alberta. The program combines strength and skills training with sports science sessions. The program runs January to March. 

Basketball Prep

The Pronghorns/ASDCSW Basketball Prep program is aimed to deliver basketball specific emerging male basketball players from grades 9-12.
